This opportunity is for a Licensed Practical Nurse for our West Point team.
This Department of Riverside Convalescent Center West Point provides outstanding care to patients with excellent patient quality of care outcomes.
The selected Licensed Practical Nurse will be part of a team that works in a supportive and collaborative culture that with others, provides competent and compassionate care to all patients and their families.
Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Nursing Supervisor and ultimately responsible to the Director of Nursing / Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Quality Care Management.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in the assessing planning implementation and evaluation of nursing care and provides for the emotional physical comfort and safety of the residents and their families.
Assists in supervision of auxiliary personnel.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Riverside Convalescent Center in West is a 60-bed long term care facility, nested located between Williamsburg and Richmond, Virginia.
For many years, West Point citizens have looked to this Center when they needed nursing care for a loved one.
With close proximity to Williamsburg, Richmond, and Gloucester, this Center features a beautiful decor, rehabilitation area, comprehensive nursing care, spacious dining room, beauty shop, and a screened porch with fountain.
We have 12 private rooms and 24 semi-private rooms, providing care for skilled and long-term residents.
Our combination of short and long term services, dedicated team of professionals, and homelike environment are unequaled in the West Point area.
Education:
Graduate of a practical nurse program required, LPN Diploma or transcripts.
Experience:
Previous experience is not required.
Licensure/ Certification:
Licensed or eligible by the State of Virginia as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Healthcare Provider BLS Card required.
Sign on Bonus Eligibility:
Must have 1 or more years of nursing experience required.
Eligible for up to $2,500.
